Drains makes designing a drainage system easy! Foul or Surface Water, just draw the manholes, join them up with the pipes and let Drains do the hard work, calculating invert levels, falls, pipe sizes and flow velocities.

The main screen is where the manholes are placed and the pipes drawn. You can see the system as it grows stage by stage. Here you can input or edit the data for each manhole; add, delete or move manholes and junctions. Zoom in to the display for greater accuracy or zoom out for the overview. You can print out the screen at any stage for your records.

View the manhole schedule on screen at any time during the development of your drainage system. Move the mouse over the image of on the left and you can see how Drains has calculated the missing data, out of range flow velocities are highlighted in colour.

A more detailed version of the schedule can be printed out as well as detailed print outs of individual manholes.

Using Dynamic Inverts you can fine tune the separate nodes (manholes) by adjusting invert levels while Drains recalculates falls, pipe sizes and flow velocities.

"Info Boxes" on each pipe display the changing data in real time as you raise or lower the invert, warning if any of the parameters go out of range.
